How has Kerry fucked up, beyond mere faux pas? (sp)

The fact is in most states, including the crucial ones, Bush is under 50% in the polls, which usuall spells death for an incumbent. Based on who is leading in which states at the moment, Kerry will win the electoral vote (which in turn wins him the election, if he gets 270 electoral votes).

With the way the Dems are mobilising, and all the 'independent' left-wing orgs such as ACT and Move On are mobilising, there is NO WAY IN HELL that Bush will win :headbang:

Can't wait til Arnie's president.

When I'm President
Things'll be different
We'll start a new government
When I'm President

By fucking up, I mean leaving himself open to attack by shifting stance on major issues (supporting the war for a while, then changing tune etc), which enabled people to go on about the "flip-flop" thing. I'm not saying he shouldn't have changed his mind, but politically things like that haven't worked well. Then there's his military record, which has turned from a strong point to a weak point. Despite all this, he's doing alright, and I'll be more than happy if he wins!
