i literally could not care lessCymbals also wear out if you don't know how to fix them on stands the correct way and there's a contact between different kinds of metal, so cymbals get oxidized. That's not a big surprise though.
As for the subject - my friend from states just bought stands that are 45 bucks. And decent cymbals start at $200.
What kind (brand) of stands are you're talking about?
I would imagine "good" cymbals are rather expensive. Three cymbals for $80 sounds a bit dodgy.
Are cymbals not hand-made? Hand-made shitz is always expensive. Unless it's made by slaves.
i think staggs are generally considered to be good for the price, they don't have the finish of more expensive cymbals so they sound a bit more NECRO, but at least they're made of b20 bronze and not brass, unlike SOLAR and stupid beginner's brands like thatIn my experience most cymbals less than $80-100 sound like complete garbage. You will always have exceptions to the rule, but generally you get what you pay for.
i've looked around on some drummer forums and the general consensus seems to be that at least the fx cymbals (china, splash) are very worth the low price for having around as beater cymbals
