This isnt about opinions or arguing or interpreting anything. Mikael wrote the thing, he would know if it was a concept album or not. If he says it isn't a concept album, its not, no matter how much you want to pretend it is.

The truth is that Mikael set out to write a concept - Ghost Of Perdition and The Baying Of The Hounds being part of the concept i do believe.. and i presume Beneath The Mire. But he then wrote Isolation Years which has nothing to do with the concept (Rosemary is mentioned, yet she's not hinted about etc anywhere else). Because of this, he decided to ease up on the concept .. so it's only partially a concept... the fucker stole MY IDEA!! lol
