I think I have to pre order this beast today, my anticipation is almost peaked already. It will be glory 
WOODS 4: The GREEN Album - Vocal Recording, Night One. Two songs completely done! Clean, black and doom! HEAVY STUFF!!!! Sounding great.

In studio, vocals day two: Three more very challenging/'difficult' songs DONE tonight (then again, all our songs are 'difficult'), w/ ultra low Pete Steele (TYPE O NEGATIVE) vocals, 'clean and clear' as well as 'black as night' standard 'WOODS' DG vocals, and a new weapon, some Kirk Windstein (CROWBAR) melodic sludge-singing. All in all, doing our best to give Paul from NOVEMBERS DOOM a run for his American money.

I pulled one of my wisdom teeth out, took ONE Tylenol, sang black metal vocals in the studio SO HARD for six hours that my belt buckle broke apart in my hands...then I pulled another wisdom tooth out. Now I'm drinking beer and eating nachos. If you didn't already know, ALL of those things are pretty metal. Another productive night in the studio, recording WOODS 4: The GREEN Album. A few more songs done, a few more tomorrow.

Hey David. Will it be possible to preorder a copy of Woods 4 in person at the Chaos festival on Saturday? I realize it's probably not the preferred way, I just hate sending things in the mail when I can do it in person.

WOODS 4: The GREEN album has been recorded at STEREO SOUL STUDIOS, engineered by a bright young produced named Miguel Gauthier.
The guitars are low and mean, but the overall sound is clear and clean. It sounds to me like well-polished GREEN DOOM!!! However, there art AT LEAST 6-7 different and distinct styles / genres amongst the songs on this album, written as a concept, like the telling of a story. It has a beginning, middle and a conclusion with various 'acts' throughout. You'll see!
If it is at all possible, w/ our schedule, we will post samples sometime in August.

Lots of stuff based around thoughts and experiences during my year in exile... You'll see. I think it was very tastefully done. It's very heavy and DARK, but not without class. There's even a little humour (though, very little).
I think, if you liked the 'spirit' of "Woods 2: Pursuit of the Sun & Allure of the Earth", you might just REALLY like this.
I can't wait to get it out! ...and move on with my life.
Studio Update:
In studio, listening back to vocal work. Blackmetal vocals are now all done! Only a few 'cleans' left next week. Tomorrow, international rockstar brothers Evan (drums) and Shane "Shanesaw" Madden (bass) arrive in Canada for 1) Bass Recording, 2) Live Rehearsals, 3) W4:GREEN Album Photo Shoot 4) Headlining day two of the ONTARIO CHAOS METALFEST on Saturday...and at the finish line, there'll be fried foods and beer.
