I voted Nickleshite. They suck like a hoover and what makes them worse is that twat of a lead singer of theirs going round telling everyone else they suck! The other bands on there are not great, but i don't here then ripping the shite out of other bands so they don't get my vote.
Whether a band is crap is personal opinion, i think there should be a pole for mainstream band that shouldn't be where they are today because they are fake or corporate lapdogs (Linkin Park, Lostprophets, Avril Lavine etc)!

Nirvana. They're music is ok, but the factors that sells their albums is the are that Kurt Cobain, commited suicide in the hype of his carreer, and is attractive to some women.

To some the music might be the reason to buying their albums, but if you think they're music is worth 14 dollars a disk, I feel sorry for you, unless you're an ignorant child.

Screw Kurt, RIP Quorthon.

Plus look at Layne Stanely and Alice in Chains. They are from the same era, lasted relatively as long, and Alice in Chains music is better, but Alice in Chain's records haven't sold as much as NIrvana's have. In mainstream music, it's all about power chords and sex appeal.

just replace "all of us" with "the people who dislike music without really listening to it, just because it's numetal or pop or hiphop, and think listening to metal makes them so much better people than those who listen to hiphop for example."

I voted for KISS. I saw them live 2 weeks ago and they suck. The only good music I enjoy was "Detroit Rock City". The opening band, POiSON was waaaay better. Gene Simmons of KISS admits that he's in music for the money.
