Worst name for metal band

Gandalf is a pretty stupid name for a band. And naming your band Arwen means you just aren't trying. There's a band here in Oz called Cloth Tape though, which I think just about takes the cake.

And Oni. I know it's Japanese for demon and they're a great band, but really... Oni is just a dumb name for a death metal band.

Look at the first picture in your signature... Though I agree the name doesn't fit that band in particular.

Also, I think Death has a right to such an obvious and simple name. Same with Slayer and Carcass. They've been around forever. Cannibal Corpse? Their initial gimmick was over the top gore and abrasiveness. Why not use that name. A lot of the bands mentioned have excellent reasons for the names they use, whether or not that means their concept is lame is really the issue.

Then again, some are just plain terrible.
