Yeh, he was easily the most ''metal'' of any board member. Ever. But  ''sexi alexi''. Classic.

I'm curious as to whether the 94 is Sexi Alexi's name indicates year of birth.
i think it does, so, it is reasonable to like cob at that age.
sexi alexi, get dead heart, politics, this godless endavour, s/t, in memory, dreaming neon black and enemies. if you don't like them, nevermore is still gonna get money and invest them in world domination.

To be honest, I think most people shun every having liked CoB purely on the basis that many kids like them. (read: they became quite popular).

Musically, Some of their work is great. I quite like Hatecrew DeathRoll, and Hatebreeder has some awesome tracks. I don't like the bands play at their "image" and I certainly have no affection for Alexi, but somewhere along the line alot of folks stopped listening just they became quite popular with ze kiddies.

I'd just like to qualify all this by saying: I still think CoB are gay, and it's because they genuinely like men, as opposed to because they are now popular with the hip-kids.

if nevermore gets really big, and kids start coming to the show, but musically they stay the same or release something brilliant like dnb, poe, tge are you going to hate them? i wouldn't.
but cob, changed their musical direction in order to get kids to the shows and buy their album. i quite enjoy hatebreeder and follow the reaper, but not the newer stuff.
my 2 cents

I'm not denying CoB clearly changed their ethos in order to conquer the US and sell more records, I'm only saying alot of the hatred stems from folks hating that they used to like them.

Plus, if Nevermore get BIG you can be DAMN sure I'll pretend I never liked them.

Something Wild and Hatebreeder are good cds. Their sound was, at least at that time, pretty damn unique. And they were all, what, 20, 21?
