Interesting...recently MotW has been categorized a lot more often as 'progressive metal' than the old 'doom/death' label they had a few years back. Times they are a-changin', I suppose .

I think that's part of their approach, equal parts cosmic and infernal, that allows them to be respected by prog listeners who would normally have a strong distaste for anything with death metal elements, and vice versa.
