Apparently there exists a rule that a cop is supposed to disengage chasing someone once they hit a certain speed limit because: 1. The cop car can't actually keep up, and 2. because it actually becomes a HUGE hazard.

Really? Because, atleast in WV, lots of cop cars are crown vics or chargers with interceptor engines... I cant image too many cars can actually outrun them.
