You, yourself...

23 years of age, From SouthEastern U.S. . My hobbies are collecting weapons, Warhammer Fantasy, Warhammer 40k, just about any strategy game. I have no social life....anymore....
I have no girlfriend....though i am waiting for the right person:confused: ........i sometimes ride BMX bikes with my brother....I mostly listen to bands like In Flames and Hypocrisy...but am starting to get into Mr. V and Bands like Fintroll and Opeth...i have listened to metal for around 6 - 8 years.... thats it really
 
ok, it's time for me... my name's Maciek. i'm 26 years old and i live in Wroclaw (Breslau in german), Poland. i'm editor in computer games magazine and i also studied journalism at Wroclaw University. this year i got married with Martex and in september she will bring a our child into the world:D
i have listened to metal for around 15 years. i have 5 years older cousin who listened metal and introduce to this music :D then i played guitar, but it was many years ago :lol: today Martex sing in death metal band Enter Chaos, early she was vocalist Immemorial.
well... that's all i think...

thanx, thanx, thanx;) no, we don't know yet, but we want knows!!! 10th july will be next USG (ultrasonograf - i don't know english name) examination and maybe then? wait and see... if it will be boy, be called Filip (Phillipe) or girl will be called Julia:D :D :D

My daughter likes music in general. However she like metal a lot. She says Bal-Sagoth is good twirling music and Finntroll is good hop hop music. She has strong opinions though, no Blind Guardian. (I have no idea why.) Kids will be kids and if you don't force the issue chances are they will like metal too. I still sometimes listen to the same stuff my dad and mom use to play for me when I was a kid.

Congrats! Maciek you and your wife are entering one of the hardest times of life, but it also provides the greatest rewards! Good Luck!!

Errr, I bet that's something you won't be worrying about when you're son/daughter is finally walking the world, man! :) Well, I wouldn't mind it if he/she doesn't like metal if I were you, he/she can like whatever he/she wants, right? :) Even tho it would be nice if he/she WOULD like metal hehe :)


edit: Even tho, the way the parents are tends to influence the chlidren, too, right? SO if you both love metal, the child might likely like it as well :) Depends if he/she hangs around with YOU more during growing up or with some other persons that like techno or whatever hehe. Remeber giving him/her metal with the milk, yeah! ;)

About children liking or not liking the same as their parents: I've ended up liking much of the same music as my parents. -But then, my father have ended up liking the same music as me and my siblings as well! :lol:
 
when i was teenager my parents always said: "you're young. when you grown-up, you will listen normal music". i'm old and i still listen metal... strange indeed:lol:

You are old??? Because I'm 26 in 10 days!!! This means I need to
get busy the next couple of days before I get old ;)

But seriously. The way I see it, your kid will most likely have metal
influences, and even if he/she ends up liking some other type of music,
I'll bet my life he/she'll have some bands/styles of metal that
he/she really enjoys and respect. \m/
