Your favourite local band

My favourite would be Virgin Black from South Australia. They play a mix of doom/symphonic metal.

I saw them last year, when they were supporting Opeth. They're pretty good.

My favourite from Perth is Gallows For Grace - really good technical death metal.

We don't have local live rock/metal bands,etc.. you can't just go out to a bar or anywhere and see live music or anything like that and we don't have concerts here(last being Phish). Local police and the town were really annoyed and we don't have live acts period now in Lake Placid.

These days Alchemist is probably my favourite local band... even though they are based a couple of hundred km's away in Canberra
