That Moonsorrow album was a great choice, it has had so many spins in my player. The Isis albums looks intrigueing, I dont know much about the band, are they any good.

The Isis albums looks intrigueing, I dont know much about the band, are they any good.

They're post metal, which is pretty cool. I've been on a huge post rock binge for over a year now, and lately I've felt I needed some post rock, but with a punch, and this certainely delivers. It's songs that take a while to boil, and then just explode. From what I understand, this is actually their "lightest" album, but the ones before have harsh vocals that I'm not too fond of (this one does as well, just less).
A lot of the parts also remind me of some of the hypnotising part of the latter part of Tool's Lateralus.

I'm listening to holy tears. Sounds pretty cool, some parts remind me of agalloch, some are more doomy and some are just cool experimental stuff.
