Can't have enough...

Getting this new set was a real educational experience as I came to learn that the whole 'burning in' thing isn't just a myth. Whether it be the drivers loosening up, the cushions wearing or whatever else happened over the course of 3 years, my old set sound markedly different to the brand new set. The old set appears to have a flatter frequency response with less bottom end thump, gentler highs and more core midrange, whereas the new set feels more rigid, stiff but hi-fi. The extension feels more impressive, yet they have a lower perceived output volume too. The old set sounds SIGNIFICANTLY better. Very cool!

Holy shit, I love Suhr guitars! How do you like it, have you got it yet? I've been eyeballing one of these myself.... so jealous! Enjoy!

Thanks had the guitar a couple of weeks and I am very happy , the neck on the S4 is so good , the hardware is great too even the non floyd can take some abuse without mis behaving . Massive range of tones from one guitar , now I want one with a humbucker in the neck as well ! I can highly recommend but make sure you audition a few first , some shops have them set up piss poor which is a shame .

Cab got delivered today. For the money I am SERIOUSLY impressed. With the EVH Volume on 2 (out of 10) it pushes some nice air and rumbles the floor nicely. I expected it to be loose and boomy. It is actually tight and punchy. Love it.

Congrats on that SLR!! I got a 450D and it's great! Only thing that bothers me is the lack of video but oh well. Can't have it all. BTW, the Helios 44-2 is supposed to be an INCREDIBLE portrait lense. Post some pics when you get the chance!
