The PAD works really well. I was able to map it to Addictive Drums in like 10 seconds and was drumming away. It feels solid, not cheap or anything. I can't speak for the kontrol since I don't have one, but if it's built the same then it will at least be durable, etc. I will most likely be getting a nanoKEY around xmas time so I can have an easy way to program synths and strings, etc.

@006: Based on reviews alone, i'd recommend staying away from the nanoKEYs as it sounds as if it clicks like a mouse on every stroke, then again, i haven't tried one.. try one before you decide..

I have had the same one for about 3 or 4 years now and is hands down one of the best guitars I have played as far as the feel on mine goes. Only complaint is that the Custom in the bridge is not really suited to the mahogany for metal.

Yeah! I feel the same way, problem is that I want to put EMGs in but I don't think the awesome 30th anniversary covers are going to fit them, so I'm in a bit of a rut
