Agree about Cubasis, but the reason you do not see it on Android is because of all the extra hardware considerations that have to be made from different manufacturers. LG, HTC, Samsung, Sony, yadda yadda yadda... That doesn't make it a shitty OS. That makes Steinberg lazier than other Android...

If you're looking for a comparable 2-channel tube preamp that is MUCH better, look at Art's MPA preamps

I also had a very bad experience with Bluetube preamps. I bought one several years back and the tone was awful, noise was high, and the overall character of the pres just plain sucked (My Behringer Eurodesk from back then had better pres... and better by a lot). I sold it within a week.

Having a well-balanced mix (both in terms of spectral balance and dynamics), and then using the right amount of saturation and compression/limiting. That's it really.
