2000 Decibel forum-meeting

Anyone interested in meeting up somewhere on the festival, grab a few beers and chat before the Vintersorg-concert?
Haven´t been to 2000 Decibel before, but I imagine (even demand) they sell beer
Anyway, would be nice to see some of the faces from this board "live"....wouldn´t you say???

Well, I am def. going there, even if Vintersorg isn´t playing ( I haven´t seen anything official yet ) So, sure, Beer is always nice..

And, no, they don´t sell beer there. you are not allowed to drink at all inside the festival area, so you have to bring your own beer and sit outside at the parking lot It is actually quite enjoyable, or was last year anyways...

...well, hopefully. Still haven't any ideas as of how my "holidays" will be like since a festival wasn't exactly what I had in mind when thinking of another trip up there. But I try to be flexible
How's that festival generally anyway? When thinking of festivals I always have huge campgrounds and large open air stages in mind which obviously isn't the case. Haha....and if someone would please remind me that I wanted to get mr V a beer (at the parking lot!? )

It is a very small festival, wich is in a park really. Three "stages" quite small to, with one of them beeing a demo stage. They have a few food stands, and some CD stands. Also Merch. stands with T-shirts and misc. objects.

Bengtsfors is only a village, or you can maybe call it a small town. But they have a few pizzerias and bars, wich are ok. Apart from that not much. Many local kids join in the general party going on outside at the parkinglot, the cops are friendly. Hmmmm... Can´t think of anything more at the moment, maybe Line can add something? Or if it is something, ask

Where in Sweden is Bengtfors located?

I am probably going there from Stockholm. Bengtsfors is located in the province Värmland, I guess its about 3-4 hours cardrve west of stockholm, close to norway. There is a map on www.mfdecibel.com

Well, I have to drive for almost half the day. But I guess it's a bit to go for Mr. V as well.
Wish I lived in Gothenburg these days...

I have one warning, don't drive with the bus from Norway >P
But there won't be a bus from Norway this year, so just ignore

Urm...and avoid the taco/food/yucky stuff that they sell...

I don't really like the big stage. Not enough space for moshing,
and I hate a sitting audience P

Let me make things clear --> I AM ALWAYS COLD! >) Hehe...
If it's under 20 C I'm probably cold. But I don't like being in the
sun when it's more than 23 C! lol P I hate sweating, cause
I'm always cold P I dunno... I just don't look alive with purple
lips and fingers...

We should all share a pizza (or more) some time during the
day ) And I'll be sure to bring with me a couple of extra
sweaters/jackets >P
