It's within walking distance from Taksim. Parallel to Istiklal Caddesi where it starts going downhill, kinda behind this tall hotel (Mercur, I think).

Cool. The guide is wrong though. They don't serve just gier. They also serve tavuk and et (and also karisik, I guess, but as that's a mix, I don't know if it counts). Hope I spelled things right.
