i hear ya. jw is hella overpriced. and there is much id rather have at each pricepoint but the Gold is damn fucking good. But yeah, spend the same amount on a Talisker 18 or Lagavulin 16, and there's no question wtf I'm gonna go for every single time.

Because it has name brand appeal. Easy to go for the Pepsi name, rather than actually take time to explore quality.
