Alec's Tavern : The Frost Blast

Was a really nice day out spending it with band members and hitting the pub. Ran into a German guy with a MetalCamp t-shirt and we had a good chat about the festival, his only complaint for the festival was "IT'S TOO HOT". Haha.

It can get very hot yes:) Easily above 30C every day. But you have the Soca river (beautiful daughter of the mountains!) right next to the festival so you can cool off anytime.

When I met Dimmu, we talked about how awesome Emperor was the whole time.

:D

Haha, yeah MetalCamp seems appealing for the heat and that River. I remember explaining it to my friends and how it's the most beautiful venue for a festival ever, yet they all seemed to just complain about how apparently retarded it sounds. Stupid friends :\

When I saw Dimmu, I was pretty much the only one helping Shagrath with Mourning Palace. I guess he noticed and pointed me out in the crowd while saying "Hear the cries from the mourning palace!" Almost near fainted I tell you! hahaha!! Other experiences Include kickin it with Karl Sanders and almost near mauling Peter Tägtgren to death from excitement. lol!!

Stupid friends!:D What's so retarded about spending a couple of days at a nice festival location?:) Of course if the bands are great. And they fucking should be this year! The makers of this movie chose the river for a some 10 mins of scenes actually. They came way over here because the river is so lovely. It's paradise.:)

I know I've mentioned this before, but I'm proud of it what can I say.:D

Nah you don't want to live here.:D I would mos def recommend a vacation tho. Perhaps in Bled or Kranjska Gora or Piran or Portoroz or Bohinj or Tolmin or Cerkno or Ljubljana or Maribor or Ptuj or Kranj,.. List goes on:D Then again since Slovenia is far from being the biggest country in the world, you can visit a lot of these places in more or less short time.:) Takes what..two, three hours to get from the alpine area to the coastline.

I didn’t know that Slovenia had so many beautiful landscapes!!:OMG:
When I go for my tour around Europe, I will definitely spend a couple of days in Slovenia :headbang:

Vampyrian, don’t you love your country? :)

Well, the country is on the rise, we've been doing quite well economically. Problem is that our medical system rivals that of the USA:D And that's not a good thing.:) Hopefully things will change in the coming years, for the better of course so... Wait a few years at least:D

I'm a safe girl, medical junk isn't something I'm too concerned about. It just seems like such a beautiful country, I couldn't stay there for a short period of time.

Anyway...
I just turned 18 today.
And I'm going to celebrate it by listening to Vintersorg's discography.
YAY

happy birthday, isjungfrun.

i think it's a fine thing to move around this way. good luck with that and enjoy!

@ vampyrian:

So I went to a gig tonight to find Jeff Walker sitting right beside me at the bar. Fun. I offered to buy him a drink but he wouldn't accept it. Either way he's such a great guy and fun to chat to, His good friend escorted me home too and now I've kind of got close to Walker's friends and I should be seeing him again on Saturday (if we don't see each other before that).

And on a negative note, Jeff said he's not likely to play MetalCamp 08 but after I requested it he said he'll think about it and if he's bugged enough then he might just play. For now his list is Wacken, Tuska and Hellfest. Enjoy. :)
