Alexi's downfall (as a composer)

Shit, when i read the title to this, i thought you were talking about Alexi's song "Downfall" and i got really confused but a while ago, it just hit me that you're saying there's a downfall in Alexi's music.

Anyway, HCDR and AYDY weren't a downfall at all. HCDR just had a change of style. Get used to it. They didn't start making bad music or anything. They just changed their syle like most bands do. If they stay the same, they might run out of ideas and every album might start sounding the same. They're trying new things and i respect that. Both the neo-classical style, or the new raw, hardcore sounding style both kick-ass!

Downfall? No, that would be if he played the same stuff or it got worse over time, neither of those I agree with. Are You Dead Yet? is just different sounding, and although most of the time I am listening to the older Bodom, every once in a while I'll just switch over to Hate Crew Deathroll or Are You Dead Yet? because the kind of music I want to listen to changes all the time.

That being said, it looks like Children of Bodom is making all this different music and throwing it at you so you'll never get bored, and I don't know if I like that... I would rather switch bands than switch albums because at least you'll get a lot more music with each one.

First of all, I know Alexi's the main composer of the band and all but there has to be some form of agreement amongst all the members before music is made by a band. So all I have to say is this- their music, their choice; you're opinions, your taste. Live with it.
