Sabbat (Jpn) definitely deserve more credit. They've been around since the early 80s and have consistently made fantastic metal. They're also ten thousand times better than the UK Sabbat, but perhaps that belongs in the controversial opinions thread.

Definitely agreed. My fav band, but so few enjoy them in the way they deserve. Everyone goes straight for BMD, but have not given every album a real chance. In fact, BMD is probably the least played for me. DoDS, TD, LFDGD...those are the gems.

I'll also add Celebratum, because they are one of my favorite Norwegian bands, completely different from their "trv" peers, and no one gives them any credit, nor any mention. Bah.
