I haven't heard the song yet, I'm downloading it right now. Its size is a bit big, about 10 mb, so it will take , unfortunately, a lot of time to download it (with a 56k modem, If your connection is fast, then you have to be really happy).

I haven't heard the song yet , but it's true that Anathema can get a bit cheesy sometimes. But, when I want to relax or I feel kinda melancholic/depressed I like listening to ''cheesy'' songs. Anathema need support (as a previous thread has mentioned) as they are without a label right now.

The song has just been downloaded.

I don't find the song cheesy. It's soft but I love it. Even from the first listen. I like the drumming and especially the keyboards, as usually did a great work. The vocals remain the same, gentle echoing in my ears.

I checked out the lyrics too. Simple but deep at the same time.

Well, listened to it... and they didn't surprise me even a little. This track reminds me a lot of "AFDTE". Hmm.... IMHO Anathema started to eat their own tail since few albums and this new track is another proof for me...

I'm sorry but this song has absolutely NOTHING on f.e. "Are You There" , "Pulled Under 2000 Meter A Second" and "Empty"....(my all time favorite songs from Anathema -as well as A Dying Wish but that's so different so I wouldn't even want to compare that.)
Its not a terrible song but its by FAR not as haunting and intense.
This is a nice lullabyish song... Not the emotional overwhelming Anathema that I love so much...

I realy like this... i loved both AFDTE and AND..
as previously said a bit upbeat, but still i definetly think this is a logic continuation of the previous albums, and if i know anathema right, this might as well just be "the" uptempo song of the album (if there ever will be an album).
they always tend to have one or two positive songs on theyre albums (atleast i think so).
