And people wonder why they hate us ...

What a fucking jackass. It's inconceivable to me how people can be so callous. That's just one thing I cannot fathom.

I'm not supporting what they did. I find it to be pretty lame as well. But you have a different mentality when one of those kids could blow up next to you at any second in the street.

^ True. My dad has experienced that first hand, and he says it's fucking scary to get within 50 feet of anyone there.

Yeah, that is one thing to be weary but to fucking essentially torture these kids when you obviously are in the "upper hand" position is just cruel and unwarranted and no "could happen" justifies it.

It's holy water. He's going to lure them into a church and teach them the PROPER way to blindly submit to hypocritical authority.

So? This is hardly the travisty that some of you are making it out to be, and I seriously doubt that it is the reason that people hate us. It was mildly obnoxious (and mildly amusing). This sort of thing isn't new, probably isn't very unusual and is most certainly not a big deal.

NEWSFLASH: SOLDIERS AMUSE THEMSELVES BY SEEING HOW FAR KIDS WILL CHASE A BOTTLE OF WATER. HILARITY ENSUES.

Obviously fake.

Of course. The bottle is clearly CGI.

You just lost any bit of respectability you once had.

Overreact much? If they had, you know, actually harmed the kids in some way, I might buy that, but what they did in this video is nothing. It was an obnoxious thing to do, not a crime against humanity.

It was nothing more than a pretty rude prank. Teenagers do worse shit to there neighbors and no one gives a shit. Next you'll be calling for heads when a video surfaces of some Marines leaving a flaming bag of shit on some Iraqui guys doorstep.

Now I'm not going to claim that what these guys did is the reason people hate us or even that it warrants mass outrage, but if you can't see how this particular action is distasteful in a way that throwing eggs at your neighbor's house is not, then I suppose you ought to have your moral intuitions fixed.

Also...

Neither of the above points is even a remotely effective defense of the moral rightness or permissibility of said action.

I will probably get flamed as hell for this, but my hate for America grows (even) more every day

Dont get me wrong, its not "all" the american people. its the governement and the big percentage of total idiots in america

Man, most people hate America, it's really nothing new. Your way isnt the only/best way America, you should wake up to this fact.
