Andy's 80's/AOR thread :p

Where does the line get drawn between AOR and hard rock?
I know I asked about AOR in the LORD forum and I read the Wiki page on AOR, but it all still seems too similar. Is it pretty much the lyrics?

The line is pretty blurred and not mention stuff like west coast AOR & hi-tech AOR. Also where does the line get drawn between AOR and pop?

Don't worry to much about genres and just listen to what you like at the end of the day :)

Pseudo Echo - Race is so underrated! Pity that the band hate the album....

For what it is, it's an awesome AOR album!

But it was such a big departure from their core sound (even the Love An Adventure album before it was a pretty big change from the original idea of the band) they felt it was kind of losing their identity a bit. Brian says he still loves the lyrics on it but the music just wasn't what he thought Pseudo Echo was about.

All good for me, I like all of their stuff! :)

Speaking of Pseudo Echo... has anyone heard the "Pseudo Udo" album?
Udo Dirkschneider covering his favouite Pseudo Echo anthems. It's Awesome!
