**Anthrax STREET TEAM Update**

I managed to put flyers up at cd store but they wouldn't let me flyer up the blackest of the black show so I secretly handed some out. There are rules now in most towns not allowing the handing out of flyers due to people throwing them away on the ground causing a mess for the concert halls to pick up. :erk:

I just sent out 200 flyers inside the envelopes for the CD compilations that promote my radio station. They went to the New England Metal and HArdcore Fest. The show is actually about 10 days after the US release, but I figured thats ok still.

This weekend I'm dropping off about 100 more of my CD's to some record stores as giveaways with Anthrax flyers inside them as well.

The week after that I'll be distrubing around 150 more as well to clubs in PA, CA, NJ, and MA

Thanks guys! I do what I can..they are one of my favorite bands ever.

Now..listen to my radio station eveyr change you get. :)

just kidding

Seriously, I made a radio station that dedicates 50% of its playlist to unsigned/local bands, and I mix in modern rock radio (Audioslave, Sevendust) and old school (Anthrax, Iron Maiden). I figured this would be a good mix...not many internet or regular radio stations mix it up like that. I play metal, rock, stoner, punk, goth..its just all kinds of rock for all kinds of people.

I've contacted 96rock and they seem enthusiastic about the record and they may play some cuts...basically i got the runaround. But 96rock promoted and did a broadcast from the show here in '01 so chances may be good. 99x however said they don't fit with their format...aka nu metal, so it's doubtful they'll get airplay there.

anyhoo i tried.

I got my postcards today too.

I put handfuls of postcards in the "A" sectoin of some stores not selling the cd (Wal*Mart was one, the other was a local store) because I just happened to have them on me.

I printed up some of the flyers (both the album release and the tour) on photo paper and had the local music stores put them up. I printed up a bunch more on regular paper to hand out at local shows. The local station has been playing tracks off of W.C.F.Y.A. since late April. (I let them borrow my Nuclear Blast copy.)

Unless a miracle happens, the tour won't come up here. But a lot of people up here do fly down to catch shows in Seattle and L.A.

Still haven't received anything from Sanctuary yet.

Please e-mail me if you don't recieve anything this week! That also goes for anyone who has sent me their address, and has not recieved the Anthrax Postcards from Street Wise (Santuary's Street team hook-up-thingy).

P.S. Call this radio station if you live near Pasidina, and request "Safe Home", please. :)

I will be "shocked and awed" if KUPD plays anthrax.

Did you know Pete Cummings is back at KUPD? He emailed me back from my first round of emailing at KDKB, he said he'd play it but Jennifer said she wouldn't. I don't know if he actually played it, but if he was cool with it at KDKB, they've got a good chance he'll do it at KUPD, wouldn't you think? Otherwise, no, I don't think they would get on KUPD.
