Np, I actually studied classical guitar for a few years in college. I played a lot of Spanish music, from Sor to Albeniz to Villa-Lobos. Now I mostly play metal, and a lot of Bach (hence my name). I can't think of too many artists who combine both styles in the way I think you want. Maybe you can be the first dedicated Spanish Metal writer. I'll keep my ears open though, it does sound interesting to hear. I think the main reason for all the reccomendations is that A7X isn't consider a "real" metal band because they get so much radio play and the song structures are more pop chart friendly. But you know, their older stuff is pretty metal really, I enjoyed a few songs off of City of Evil too, not gonna lie.
but dude the song that i posted IS old A7X. it's older than City of Evil, and definetely doesn't have a pop song structure. I study music too btw. And i'll have to get a lot better at guitar before i start writing Spanish metal haha
