There is a flamenco / metal fusion band called Flametal, but their quality is pretty hit or miss. Mostly miss, actually. In fact, I couldn't even find one on youtube that I thought was worth posting in this thread because, despite what their name implies, their implementation of flamenco into metal is actually quite poor, so I'll post something better, instead.
Ojos de Brujo - Zambra
They're not a metal band, they're a real flamenco band, and they're really good.
Hacride - Zambra
This is a metal cover of the previous song.
Ashik - Czardsz
This is a non-metal band playing a gypsy folk song.
Ashik - Szombathely Jig
Another gypsy song that sounds like it could be metal.
Kalmah - Kill the Idealist
This is not flamenco inspired, but I think the melody is a pretty good example of how the gypsy / flamenco influence could be applied to metal. The previous two songs by Ashik reminded me of this metal band when I first heard them.
Old Man's Child - Black Seeds on Virgin Soil
The intro to this song features Spanish-style guitar.
Exmortus - Axes of War
This is not related at all, I just felt like posting it. The whole song is basically a bad-ass guitar solo.
EDIT: Also, you can check out the
Van Helsing Soundtrack. Tracks 04 and 08 have Spanish guitar in them.
