i'm not. i'm employing reason to investigate the meaning of these words that people often take for granted. i seem to have pissed you off. consult a question mark before you start sounding like a robot again.

You seem to making your own definitions on what you think, that is not investigating. People know the definitions to these words, stop pretending they don't. Reason is not the process of making up your own shit and trying to pass it off as indisputable knowledge.

i never said facts and opinions are identical things. they are seperate words because, as i stated, a fact IS an opinion. not all opinions are fact.

Words were created by humans. Humans defined these words overtime. Their meanings were written down in handy things called dictionaries. Why are we disputing something as silly as definitions seriously. If you want to be stubborn (I'm not calling you stubborn) about it then ok dictionaries might contain error. Some words are open to interpretation. This is why you consult multiple dictionaries. But these words are not vague in their definitions and neither are they complex to understand. Why insist on making these words so hard?
