Same here. I do tend to wear black and red... but that's because they were my favorite colors even before I got into metal. I'm not into a lot of the idiocy associated with being "metal" like drugs and sluts etc...

Yeah, I wear a lot of black, but not any band shirts. Black, grey, blue etc. just not bright colours. And sport brands, anyway.

When we saw Opeth at Harpo's in Detroit, there was girl who just flew over about three weeks prior to live here with her father. She was in her early 20's. She knew no one, and we started to talk. After a few beers and a few shots of Jaeger, it turns out that she was bi and my finace is bi, and we banged her later that night. That was cool. THANK YOU OPETH!

me too, might I add that I loathe the goth look/scene, too damn depressing. Also, there are so many people in that scene that try so hard to look different or unique that they just end up looking the same, "hot topic chic" I call it...
Master's Apprentice is my favorite song, with The Moor coming in at a close second...
I just think that most men here just haven't met the right metal chick...

I saw some chick at a gig (Bowelmouth for you Melburnians) when I was 15 who was wearing an Opeth shirt. She had large breasts. I wanted to tap that. I saw her again at some other gig. I was excited.

Bowel Mouth are awesome. I still remember first seeing them when I was like 14 or 15. I had never heard such an ugly bass tone before. It turned me on (not the chick playing it, mind you). I like their interplay with people in the front row.. they really work off our energy when we're moshing for em

Yes, yes they do. Not the best band musically, obviously, but fucking great nonetheless. I saw 'em a couple of times at the Arty. I have their 'Stool Sample' demo. 'Fur Burger', 'Meat Curtains' etc. With tracks like that, you can't go wrong. I'm gunna listen to that fucker now.

All women into metal are damaged goods... sure, and I guess by the same logic all guys into metal are damaged goods... in fact, watching some art program on BBC 2 about artists it seems to me that anyone slightly interested in anything creative is probably "damaged goods" by todays standards. Just the facts. Or something 
Of course in todays world everyone is "depressed" or has "special needs" or something that makes them unique I don't think its just limited to females.

Yea, but... are they hot? We can't have skinny pale blokes with beards and Crucifixes as the poster people for Opeth, we need pretty people. This will give Opeth an image which will say, "If you listen to Opeth you'll be hot too!".
