That's why I've tried to get my friends who are big into Tool into Opeth as well. Some of them not being into metal haven't quite gotten over Mikael's growling parts as of yet, but they hear the greatness of Opeth nonetheless![]()

My Reaction...YAWNNNNNNNN! Sounds like a bad Pearl Jam grunge knock off (and I dislike Pearl Jam). Now I know this guy is a good singer because I have, and like, A Perfect Circle CD; but on this Undertow cd, I can just see him singing in the pseudo-emotional Eddie Vedder clenched teeth style of singing, yeach! And the music is this repetitive "soulfull" crap.
I gather from the posts that the newest two are more musically interesting, if I find one used and I have a few extra bucks maybe I'll check it out, but from what I've heard, I don't get it at all.
