WTF?? You never indicated in any way shape or form that you want the tour to fail, you simply can't imagine (like most of us) how the tour can possibly be successful. I'm sure you'd be very happy for them if they somehow pulled it off without a hitch.

So how did you find out? Did you get sent an email or something?

WTF?? You never indicated in any way shape or form that you want the tour to fail, you simply can't imagine (like most of us) how the tour can possibly be successful. I'm sure you'd be very happy for them if they somehow pulled it off without a hitch.

Correct. I hope the tour is successful. My intent on pointing out the absurdities is both in jest and to convince the guy that scaling back would give the tour a better chance to succeed without confronting him directly as he has proven resistant to all forms of negative coments (save a few tame ones). Plus, the more stoic he became, the more sarcastic my comments became as it drove me nuts. I know the logistics and what goes on behind the scenes. It kills me to watch what I consider a great idea to be pissed away in arrogance. I still 100% believe the tour will fail even with headliners like Within Temptation or Lacuna Coil because you don't book a 20,000 seat arena and then scale it back to play in front of 2,000 (if that many).


I guess Penguin Dude is French and didn't like the Target joke.

I got "banned" from another forum after I posted comments in my own forum concerning the ED tour (that I copied & pasted & inserted smart ass remarks).

lol. I don't know if that's the best move. With the few people already going to show up, he might loose a few people based on his treatment of critism. It's sad how I don't want bands I like to say yes to this tour. I don't want it to tarnish a future chance of a good club tour happening. Gosh I hate arenas.

THAT is both sad AND hilarious! Hell, if I won the lottery or had the cash to put on some kind of festival, you'd be the the first person I'd want to be cordial with, and pick your brain on a few things.... Oh well, I too wish him luck (although I'd have no interest in any of the bands he has signed onto this thing...)

Reminds me of a festival here in Vegas 5 years ago that actually happened, but failed miserably in attendance and cancellations. 20 small bands, none of which belonged on the same stage together, no advertising, and a big casino ballroom for the venue.
