...Since when was Bathory an exclusive black metal band. The vast majority of Bathory's music is not black metal, I suggest you hear more.

Bathory is not overrated.
Quothorn is issued becauste of his death, but not overrated.

I can see your point, there are better bands in black/viking metal, but Bathory was the starter. You can hardly say about starter that it is overrated.
