Anybody that thinks Black Sabbath is overrated should be beaten with a sock full of sharp glass shards. Black Sabbath invented heavy metal. End of story. Saying Black Sabbath is overrated is like saying . . . I don t' know. I can't think of anything so stupid.

yeah well they have a very big fanbase and some other bands equally good don't have such a big fanbase.
I think Opeth have stood up for the challenge

Have you visited their forum? Talk about suctioning one's lips to the band's collective ass.

90% of metal review sites are afraid to give them a bad review. It's always "Opeth are genre-defining" or "It's a classic". Opeth haven't been genre-defining since MAYH.

Vintersorg is kinda overrated in my opinion(forum wise)
they praise him as some kind of god and he is good but he is not changing the music scene nor the first person to play the kind of music he plays
