Will probably see it next week so all of the miserable fanboys and lame ass fucking hooping teens can get it out of their systems. I can't stand seeing a movie on opening weekend anymore because of the ignorance and inconsiderate nature of people today.

If the movie doesn't feature the acting debut of a rapper, than I am getting up and leaving.

I don't know about where you live, but it certainly happens more often than not around here where the more people you have packed into a theater, the higher the chances for the really big assholes to come out are, and let me assure you they come out in droves for movies like this. They're hell bent on treating every movie like Rocky Horror Picture; intent on yelling out comments, voicing extremely loud opinions, checking their cell phones for text messages constantly, and going WOAH at the top of their lungs at everything that happens.

No. I do not pay $10 to spend the next 2 hours wanting to punch someone.

Around here, the exact opposite is true; those people go to the discount theaters instead. They apparently believe that paying $3 instead of $9.50 for a movie entitles them to interfere with other people's enjoyment of the film.

We were thinking of trying to see it on IMAX, and all the showings are sold out past this weekend. It will, however, run for at least two weeks on IMAX here.

(Gotta love Fandango....I seldom use them to actually buy tickets but they're great at showing movie times....even for theatres that don't do online ticketing. :kickass: )

Yeah no kidding! I'll probably see it on a regular theater, and then catch it at the IMAX some later day.

I don't care for superhero movies that much, but I make an exception when it comes to the new Batman movies. Batman Returns was excellent and I'm sure this one won't disappoint. I'll drag my wife to see it within the next couple of weeks.

100% agree with you. It's even worse during the summer when all the high school kids are out and about. I can't fucking stand people clapping, yelling, hooting and hollering during a movie. Then there's the folks who try and make funny little quips hoping everyone else will think it's funny. It's not. My gf and I had to leave and demand our money back a few weeks ago because of all this shit. Management didn't give a shit and just refunded our cash like it happens 100 times a day.

I would love an age restricted movie theater, say 21+ or 25+. Or at least have one screen for it. That way, those who go to watch and enjoy a movie can do exactly that.
