It is a fine beer im not a fan of pale ale but the Osiris has a citrusy finish almost like a grapefruit kind of taste that i thoroughly enjoy. And yes Belligerent both beers are delicious and made here in Indianapolis the flat 12 bier is actually called Coffee Brown but i assure you its more like a porter. Here are the sites if want to look at them.

Pannepot's Pannepeut 2007 Old Monk's Ale
copied from my beeradvocate review...

2007 Vintage poured into my Chimay goblet. I'm super stoked to have this brew.

I pour it slowly making sure to not get too much yeast and sediment in the glass. There's good carbonation but a head doesn't really form. What little head there is quickly dies away to islands in the middle. Color is good. Hazy brownish

Smell is sweet but subdued. And the taste? Divine. Absolutely satisfying. Sweet like the nose. There are hints of figs and prunes. Slight smokiness lurking way in the background. This is amazing

Mouthfeel is pretty decent. For 10%, the booze is fairly well hidden. However, because of the carbonation, I couldn't drink more than one. That being said, would I buy this again and drink it? Absolutely. This is a great beer. If you find it, buy it.

Very disappointed by the Prima Pils! It's extremely overhyped on BA, but I find it to be way too hoppy for a German Pilsener.

Haven't had that. I've only had a few Oskar Blues beers (it is Oskar Blues, correct?). I really liked Ten Fidy, Old Chub and Gubna...the BA community is pretty heavily split on some of their beers

It's Victory Brewing, and their Prima Pils is their absolutely highest ranked German Pilsener which just blows my mind. Then again, you have to take into account the large amount of hopheads on the website. I just feel that overloading a german pilsener with hops isn't the way to go for that particular beer style.

Don't trip ma nigz! On a side-note, I was going to ask if you were interested in contributing to a beer review blog that I started last month, unless of course you already have one running

Picked up a sixer of this:

BridgeportKingpinDoubleRed

It looks delicious, but it doesn't taste quite as good as it looks. The smell is sweet, and the taste is smooth with a slight bitterness. The problem is the aftertaste leaves you with a fairly strong finish of alcohol. I read this is 7.5%, so that makes sense to a point. I just wish it was masked a little better. I can't say I would recommend this, but it's an interesting beer. It's kind of it's own thing, it doesn't really stay true to any one style.

Alright, I know this thread is devoted to mostly "good" beer as one could say. Mostly the high end stuff, but does anyone on here actually prefer the really shitty stuff compared to the more high end stuff? I did a good amount of drinking over my spring break and I concluded that I honestly enjoy the really shitty macrobrews more than anything else. I know it seems silly to say, but whatever. For example, I would rather drink a Keystone Ice than any Guinness I've tasted. My personal favorite beverage is a King Cobra 40oz. No, Im not trolling. Yes, I am stating I like malt liquor. Although, Im probably going to be harassed by 99.999% percent of the forum, I dont care. Im just stating my opinion.
