Best 80's era Metallica album?

ok, that event may or may not have coincided with the year 1902, I can't really remember.

I feel kinda bad for the people that prefer Kill 'Em All above the rest. There's just so much thrash like it, no matter how good it is, whereas Ride the Lightning is a more unique experience.
