i cant believe no one has said Neurosis, well anyway maybe thats an American thing and i guess they are a little of the metal boat but with that said. Deicide, Morgion, just about anything Mike Patton has been a part of,old Slayer and Metallica, Cynic,the Dillinger Escape Plan, ACID BATH possibly the best, lots of old punk bands, man there actually really are a lot of good bands from here now that i think about it WOW!!! oh yea and where Grindcore came from SIEGE.....melvins, sunny day real estate, hum....etc etc.... sorry almost got out of hand there.
