North From Here/Shadows of the Past are quite good.

I don't think Hearwork or Focus belong in that list though, if this is a purely death metal choice.

Some cds not included in the list besides Brutality and God Macabre.

Edge of Sanity `the spectral sorrows. 'Unorthodox' was not included in the 92 one either. Two of my favorite DM albums.
Disincarnate `dreams of the carrion kind.
Resurrection `embalmed existence.
Unleashed `across the open sea.
Utumno `across the horizon E.P.
Pan-Thy-Monium `khaooohs.
Desultory `into eternity.
Konkhra `sexual affective disorder.
Dismember `indecent and obscene.
Malevolent Creation `stillborn.
Mercyless `coloured funeral.
Comecon `converging conspiracies.
Hypocrisy `osculum obscenum.
Loudblast `sublime dementia.

Ahh shit, had Disincarnate been up there, it would've been my #1 pick.

Vote #1 "Disincarnate"

It's the best US Death Metal cd after Brutality `when the sky turns black and Death-spiritual healing/human(to me anyways).

Top 5 US Death Metal cds.

Brutality `when the sky black', usually people go with Screams of Anguish, but with me like it a lot more.
Death `spiritual healing or human(can't deicide).
Disincarate `dreams of the carrion kind.
Massacre `from beyond.
Monstrosity `imperial doom, If I had this album on cd and Nuclear Blast reissued it would probably listen to it often. It makes no sense to me they could reissue Massacre and not this album, but whatever fuck them and their gay label.
