Interesting seeing people's lists. I've said this before but I found 2007 to be quite a disappointing year regarding metal. I never did find anything I would deem to be 'outstanding' and most of the bands I had looked forward to left me disappointed. Looking at everyone's lists, I can see many albums I've listened to (mainly regarding black metal).

I really need to check that out. I'm not technically a metal head like you guys, so I have trouble keeping up with the new metal.

Some of the reviews for the new Darkthrone crack me up over at M-A. I wuold say judging from the kind of stuff I normally like I may not like it.

You're back!

{list is in the blog)

To The Nameless Dead was my initial exposure to the band in terms of substantial listening. I was initially thoroughly underwhelmed by the album repeatedly after having gotten my hopes up so high due to the immense amount of fellatio that it received on several message boards. After about 3 dozen or so listens, however, I think that it will be number 2 on my list after Deathevokation.

i'll see them at the Ragnarök and the Summerbreeze festivals

next saturday i'm goin to see Farsot and Negura Bunget. really looking forward to that!
