Black Metal is the worst subgenre

I like good songwriting matched with great production. The aesthetics of "black metal" or anything related instantly turns me off. Keep in mind I've buzzed around internet metal forums since the early 2000s and have tried all the sacred cows out over and over. Darkthrone, Burzum, Immortal....blah. I do like some of the Bathory stuff but they incorporate elements that somehow transcend the rest.

So yeah, look out controversy, I agree with the thread.

"the thread" only consists of trolls with single-digit posts. No-one seriously thinks black metal isn't one of the best genres of metal
