Black metal or Death metal....

I like my coffee black just like my metal.

Black metal is where it is at when it comes to extreme metal for me. I'm really not into DM that much, with some exceptions like Morbid Angel and uhh Bolt Thrower perhaps. Following black for me is doom...

Well, actually my favourite is EASILY thrash, but that doesn't always come with distorted vocals, so when I'm talking extreme in the sense of screaming and raving it's black metal for me. I can basically listen to anything thrash, if it's fast and thrashy enough I'll love it...a lot.

I think this thread should be moved over to The Philosopher section of UM. It's a good discussion going on here, with some non-political posters getting involved and people thinking before they write. This is great to see, and something I havent seen in the Opeth forum for a long time.
