ONly band I really like is Belphegor, but my favorite is Bloodthorn. Grab their 07 release Genocide. It's so heavy and just fuckign good.

I like many of the bands listed, but Crionics takes the cake. Their first album was top notch symphonic blackened death metal, their second was first-rate Anthems worship, and I love the industrial blackened death metal formula they demonstrated on their latest, third album.

They have 4 CDs Zeph, and their first album being Beyond the Blazing Horizon? Im going to check them out.

Beyond the Blazing Horizon is an EP that is composed entirely of songs that are on their first full-length (Human Error), with the exception of the song "Fireland", which is free to download from the band's website.

Mine would have to be Necrophobic. The Nocturnal Silence, Bloodhymns, Hrimthursum. Siiickkk

@life sucks: you would really classify arghoslent as blackened death? I see traces of black metal in their music, but their definitely not the typical blackened death band

If you listen to them closely, you will quite often hear black metal in the guitar technique. But there is also tons of heavy metal influence in their sound. Actually, they sound A LOT of Grand Belial's Key (a black metal band). The guitarist played for both bands.

Yeah they aren't...I dunno where he got that...

I can hear the influence, but it isn't enough to me to warrant the blackened death tag, especially when compared to most of the bands listed here. GBK doesn't sound typically black metal either, tbh.

just watched the trailer for Belphegor's Bondage Goat Zombie sounds pretty good from the clip.
