I'm thinking about claiming catholic(because I was born one) and not being an athiest, starting a catholic doom metal band.

Catholic doom would rule over protestant doom, actually, thanks to the richness of the background (i.e. saints, demons etc):kickass:

They threw Bibles at people in concert.
They actually hurt some people.
Yeah right? I saw a show of their's once and they were whippin' em. I passed a carload of my friends on the way home and a buddy of mine in the backseat (who was sitting in a different section) was displaying his STRYPER bible against the back window racing down the expressway next to us. His tounge sticking out and flashing devil horns.

The story with Michael Sweet saying people would bring BIG Bibles to throw up at the band was pretty funny as well. (Michael Sweet):"Yeah, they were like usually big bibles and one time someone threw this thing on stage and I didn't know what it was and I was kinda stuck, and at the last minute I ducked and you could hear it whizzing past my head. Whhheeewwww! It was this huge bible just...Wwhhheeewww! Yeah, that would have done some damage."

I'll have nothing to do with the fucking bible. The reason why I havent burnt the fucking thing is because If he really really begs me to read that part I'll have to. Im not getting on anybodys bad side at work.

Never mind. I read through the past posts.

It's pretty interesting. Not as interesting as Greek or Norse Mythology, but it's still pretty good.
