Classic rock and Opeth

It is obvious that Opeth was influenced by several classic bands. I was just curious to see what classic rock bands you guys and girls like. Some of my favorites are Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Procol Harum, King Crimson, ELP, etc. There are more but I'd be typing forever........

Although I definately lack classic rock/70s progressive rock albums, I am becoming a huge fan of 70s prog-rock (ELP, King Crimson, etc.)

Best band ever - AC/DC, I also love Priest and Maiden, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Motorhead, Def Leppard - in terms of even older, CLASSIC bands - the Doors and the Beatles are great.

I like every single classic rock band except pop wankery like Asia and Bruce Springsteen.

My faves are Pink Floyd, ELP, Who, and Led Zeppelin. And I stalk Carl Palmer. He's just that cool.
