I read something on a thread about a collaboration between them, mentionning a few songs whose titles were not in english. What would those be and where could I find them ?

That would be Sorskogen. Only one track was ever recorded, entitled 'Mordet i Grottan'. I don't know where you'd find it these days... I can't even recall where I got it from.

I just downloaded it. GREAT song. It would have been a killer bonus track on damnation.

Well, he lifted the chorus from it to use in 'To Rid the Disease', so I suppose that's enough. I would've preffered if Damnation was in the vein of that song... would've made it alot more enjoyable IMHO.

can anyone be a really great pal and send me the sorkskogen material? im having the worst time with soulseek and MIRC right now...and nobody on seems to have them right now. :erk:

Yeah, I noticed that. Even so I liked the sorkogen version a bit better.

And yes people, it's on the Hub.

Thank you very much. Do you know when it was recorded ?

Yeah, the song definitely owns, and it is funny that the chorus is TO Rid The Disease. Anyone have a translation of the lyrics, or meaning of the song??

Here are the lyrics to "Mordet i grottan", or "The murder in the cave"
I found the song on soulseek.

A summer a long time ago
The warmth runs through me
We smile and laugh
But a devious calm is always present
Somewhere in the forest
The cave where we used to play as children
A tortured body, forever set to sleep
Deprived of his dawn of life

Who was it that murdered him
Who was it thet took his life
Nobody knows, even today

Lays the darkness upon our ideal moments
A light that shines tenderly
Take us to the better days
His soul continues
We slowly walk back
The path leads our way home
The day draws to a close, and were trying to forget
The murder in the cave

Who was it that murdered him
Who was it thet took his life
Nobody knows, even today

There, hope you enjoy it!

Cool, thanks a lot for the lyrics. It's kind of funny, cause I think that if it was sung in english, it would be stupid, but in swedish it sounds cool as hell.

Since I'm not aware of this forum's rules about mp3 links and such, I'm not going to tell you I've placed sorskogen mp3 somewhere on the net....

Seriously, I thought to place it online would be a good idea, if you think I should take this off of my website, let me know.

About the song, well... I kinda expected a bit more, of all swedish-sung songs I've heard, only vintersorg do it well (even though I've heard from a swedish person that some of vintersorg lyrics are idiotic ad infinitum)
