Concerts - 2008

I'm mad at Rotting Christ because they aren't coming to philly, as of now. Only NYC and Jaxx, both of which are out due to time constraints for me. Bother. Its only because stupid trains don't run to campus during the weekend (in general, not restricted to just the weekend of the show), and I can't drive to NYC (car isn't on campus). Jaxx is too far.

Damn bro I'm sorry to hear that, hopefully you can arrange something when the show comes closer along.

-Oh I forgot to mention another show Im looking forward to is Symphony-x W/epica and into eternity. I haven't listened to symphony-x much, can any one recommend an album?

Where in NJ do you live?

Where in NJ do you live?

Right now I reside in Montclair at Montclair State University (< 20 miles northwest of NYC). We have two train stations, one on campus and one within walking distance of campus. The problem is that local off-campus residents were complaining of drunk college kids (a surprise there) being too noisy at the train stops during the weekend. So they stop running trains to NYC on the weekend. The line is one of the many that go through Secaucus to Penn. Station.

The only other alternative would be to actually have a friend drive me to another train station, and I may not have that kind of pull up here (I.E. nobody that would take me drive, heh). So sad. I know the lines too, I used them to get to NYC to see Immortal over the summer (at B.B. King's too, nonetheless).

Suwat: The last three Symphony X albums are good. Odyssey and Paradise Lost especially.

so far I'm only 100% sure of going to Roadburn and Paganfest

and probably these bands, if they're in the neighbourhood: The Kovenant, Dodheimsgard, Red Harvest.

oh and of course Dark Tranquillity

Rumor has it Behemoth will be touring with Dimmu Burger next year
Oh I'm all over that.
Hopefully I won't forget and let it pass by.

..I can't believe Behemoth was right here in my vicinity and I missed them, what a dumbass

By the way, "Dimmu Burger", that sounds like the ultimate sandwich, which only those who are most tr00 would dare eat. I'm guessing some of the ingredients would include Jack Daniel's, metal spikes, and the meat of God-knows what creature..

Macbeth are in all possibility coming in February! That's the worst month for me, but hopefully i'll make it.
Just waiting for confirmation now. :D

Is the voice of DT in a brief Italy tour on spring 2008 true?

Btw: I'd like to see too many bands, so I'll tell you the most important to me (speaking about metal bands): Opeth, Metallica, Iron Maiden. Ah, not metal, Michael Jackson, absolutely.

Ministry.

Because Iron Maiden are coming back in the summer and/or fall.

They aren't gona be playing oldies, I think, it will be like a regular big thing... well, that's what I thought that was going to be.
