I can only go on weekends to NY shows, but winter break is coming up, so I might be going there more often

I'm looking forward to winter break myself. Damn train service is the only reason I can't go, but I've already bitched about that in other threads. My deal is that I only know of like two venues in NYC and both are popular. Hence the research.
