@suwat666: I'm seeing ATG at Wacken, and possibly (money permitting) Hellfest. It makes me happy, in my pants. Are those big venues? It would be amazing to see them in a fairly small venue :)

This also makes me happy in the pants haha, yeah these are fairly intimate venues, I'm going to the Chicago show@ HOB which holds about 1300 people max.

Thanks for the heads up. Your thoughts? IMO this tour sucks compared to last year. I can't believe I didn't go last year - Necrophagist, Decapitated, Cephalic Carnage, Cattle Decapitation - fucking awesome bands. Here, I only care about Vader and Kataklysm, and that's only barely. I just plain don't like (but do respect) Cryptopsy, but their new stuff sucks universally, from what I've heard myself and what I've heard of other opinions. Black Dahlia Murder is tremendously over-rated, and the rest of the bands are decent to mediocre. *sigh*
I suppose I'm disappointed.

Already been to..

Brutal Truth
Blacklisted + Shipwreck + Soul Control
Primordial + Mael Mordha + Grand Magus
Gorerotted + Loads of others I forget
Dark Tranquillity + Omnium Gatherum
Wolves In The Throne Room + Altar Of Plagues
Dark Fortress + Hellheim + Vulture Industries

Coming up I have..

Rotten Sound + The Ocean + Trap Them
Dismember + Devilish Impressions + Methedras
Ensiferum + Korpiklaani + Moonsorrow + Eluveitie + Tyr
Samael + Suffocation
Opeth + Arch Enemy + 3 Inches Of Blood
Vader + Septic Flesh
Anaal Nathrakh + Ramasses
Skyforger
Hate Eternal + Cephalic Carnage
Cryptopsy + Decrepit Birth + Unmerciful + Emeth + Infestation
My Bloody Valentine
Hellfest
Wacken

Prolly be fair few others that I haven't noticed yet.

No problem dude, yeah last year was definitely a better line-up and I missed it also =(. I'm there for pretty much the same bands as you plus The Faceless. Yeah, TBDM is a bit over-rated but I don't mind them really.

TBDM bothers me I suppose. I just have heard a lot of unearned praise locally about them, and I find it annoying. Still, unless this tour has a 15$ ticket, I'll have to pass. I think I'd rather see Kamelot ;)

I saw a couple of bands play live tonight. I have no idea who they were or what the hell they were playing. :kickass:
