I'm going to see Mournful Congregation with Portal on Australia Day in January. They haven't played live before so it is worth flying to South Australia for. Other than that, I have nothing to look forward to. Oh my friends band Cunt Butcher is playing in my city next month, which should be........ entertaining nonetheless.

They started of with "And with her came the birds", which slowly progressed into "Owlwood". Amazing intense part right there.

Damn Dismember came to my country about a month ago but it was one day after Krisiun/Vital Remains, Krisiun and Vital were in my town and Dismember was the next day in another city so it was pretty much impossible to me. I just saw NIN if anybody here cares, the best show Ive seen ever and im not a fan, my girlfriend is.

Although I am not into their recent stuff, I gotta admit In Flames are indeed an amazing live band.
Metallica are playing in NL on March the 30th (day after my birthday) in Ahoy, Rotterdam, which is a relatively small place for Metallica (about 10.000 ppl). I'd love to go there, ticketsale starts this Saturday 10 AM, it will sell out in a matter of minutes, so I'm afraid I won't be able to get tickets..

In Flames is playing here next friday.. but they have Sonic Syndicate and Gojira as support.. I can't bear through that bunch of junk just to see them.

I saw them in August and they were awesome. The light show/backdrop was incredible. I'm seeing them twice again in November.

Agreed. That's one thing Trent goes all out on: stage visuals. The backdrops, frontdrops(yep, he has 'em) and use of video screens is top-notch.

I'm going to the Opeth screening/signing thing in November, which is "sort of" a gig I suppose. Then I'm seeing Motorhead/Saxon and then Opeth/Cynic in November also, and hopefully Napalm Death as well. I'm also seeing The Prodigy in December.
That's it for the rest of this year, unless anything killer gets announced suddenly. I've had a pretty good year though, what with Opeth, Morbid Angel, Nile and Nocturnus so it's pretty peachy
