I agree that Spiritual Healing is overrated, and "generic" is the word of the hour.

Death was one of the first concerts I saw as I was getting back into metal in the late 90s. Maybe the first name "death metal" concert I saw, too. Death/Hammerfall

To me, Symbolic sounds like the prototypical version of TSOP, in that they honed their skills on the latter.

I'd say, they went completely overboard with the shredding on TSOP. An overrated mediocre album. I still love Symbolic, but don't listen to it as much as I used to.
